This year the Transhumance Route has passed through 6 departments.
On Friday September 20, the Pimao association invited the public to the eco-grazing organized on the occasion of the Passage of the herd of 600 sheep of Stéphane and Txoin Iriberri, back from summer pasture in the Pyrenees.
At the stage of PERCHEDE (32460) at the pond of Pesqué.
Each step is an opportunity to make human and cultural encounters. The arrival of the 600 sheep and the opportunity to party, eat and have fun.
Folklore, traditions and local crafts line the 280 km traveled by the herd; Find the 2 shepherds and the whole team of volunteers who ensure the safety of the herd and the users throughout this long-term transhumance.
